"After decades of travel to Zambia...what a disaster - from housekeeping to room service that takes hours, you wake up thirsty wanting something to drink you are told to come downstairs to use a vending machine, to basics missing at breakfast, to noise in the parking lot as they are in a communal location so prepare to be kept awake and then woken up again by praise and worship services singing and university youngsters rage partying in adjacent lot all night, then there is the loud birthday...

"We love staying at the Neelkanth Sarovar—it is such a lovely hotel—in fact, I would argue it’s the very best in Lusaka. The deluxe rooms are so spacious and comfortable with a separate seating area and a kitchen, including a cooktop for preparing small meals. I also appreciate the washer with a semi-enclosed balcony for hanging our clothes to dry. This is my 4th or 5th time to stay here, and I’m sure I will stay at the Neelkanth Sarovar again the next time I’m in Lusaka. "
