This one bedroom apartment is ideal for one or two people, so the advertised price is for one person, so that it remains affordable for a single guest. Pets are welcome, upon approval. Please inquire about monthly pet fees for long-term stays. If you feel that the extra animal/person fee is too expensive, and the value isn't there for you, please don't book this place. We want to offer pet friendly places and we want your business, but we want you to be happy. We strive to keep the properties clean and maintained for all guests, which this fee helps pay for. You'll be asked to rate the value of your experience, and If this fee creates a diminished value perception, then we hope you find another fabulous place for your group.
I hope you like this accessory apartment that was built in the early 90s for great grandma McBride. It has a private exterior entrance, porch, and parking spot. You can also access the main house through an interior door. Both exterior and interior entry doors feature deadbolt locks. I hope you enjoy the community environment in the house. You can use the common areas of the house, but no sleeping is allowed in the house, nor are your animals/pets allowed in the house. The apartment is your private space, and where your sleeping accommodations are located.
We will strive to provide the best customer service and improve as we go with feedback from our guests. We hope to earn your five-star review! Your expectations should be limited to what is promised here, and reviews should reflect how we did with these promises. Before submitting your review, please remember to base it on the following criteria and what was promised to be provided for the price paid as follows:
Easy check-in process – You'll be able to self-check in. Kelli will give you check-in details prior to arrival, including a lock box code. You'll be able to access the rental at your leisure after check-in time, at 4pm. We offer early check-in options, if it's available a couple days prior to your arrival for $25-$50, depending on your arrival time.
Great Communication – Kelli is known to be responsive to guests before, during, and after their stay. You can expect prompt responses to your questions. She'll respond to web site messages as soon as she can.
Clean Accommodations – Your private apartment should be sparkling clean.
Great Mendenhall Valley Location – It's steps from the city bus stop and two miles from the famous Mendenhall Glacier which you can get to by car, or walking on a paved bike path or gravel trail. You can take the bus for one mile and walk the second mile. This is not a downtown Juneau property. Downtown Juneau is substantially more expensive than the Mendenhall Valley, so this location for the price should not be compared to that of downtown. If you want to be downtown, and don't want to take a 45 minute bus ride to go 16 miles, then this space is not for you.
Accurate Description of the space - I try to make continuous improvements when guests make suggestions and do my best to keep the changes updated and published. If I missed something please let me know, so I can update the information. If you are missing something you were counting on, please let me know immediately, so I can try to provide it for your stay.
Great Value – Juneau is expensive, especially during peak season, and while this is a more affordable option, we understand that it can seem expensive. Part of the value is the ability to rent for only one night and have an additional person. The price fluctuates depending on the season. We have to charge more when the business is there, so that we can afford to have it vacant for long, slow periods.
