"We stayed in cabin #5 definitely neededs some maintenance. The sinks and bathroom fasit handles are louse and the mixer for the shower water needs to be replaced unless you enjoy lukewarm showers."

"Was in the area only for the weekend. Nice lil cabin in remote area. Amenities were great, close to ricer. Communication was perfect. Notified me of a music fest happening that weekend, and return mailed an item i left be hind. Def recommend!! "

"The house was beautiful, with no surprises. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The house is away from most everything, however the neighbors on both sides are very close. One neighbor has quite the menagerie of animals, such as chickens, a rooster, ducks and a turkey, however we never heard them once we were inside. The river was actually across the lane but you were still right on the river. We were there in mid April during some very warm weather so the powers that be decided to let some water out of the lake to compensate for the snowmelt they were expecting. The water rose quite a bit and the slow moving river turned into a raging river. It was quite beautiful. It never got close to the house.The town of Weaverville is a short distance away if you need groceries.Overall a very comfortable home and we appreciate Ryan sharing it with us. We had a great stay."

It's also close enough to nearby attractions and hiking trails, making it an ideal balance of seclusion and accessibility.The house itself is immaculate and thoughtfully designed. It combines rustic charm with modern comforts, including cozy furniture, high-quality bedding, and a well-equipped kitchen. We loved the large windows that showcased the river and allowed natural light to flood the living areas. The outdoor deck was a favorite spot for sitting in the jacuzzi, star-gazing and enjoying the fire pit, perfect for s'mores, every detail felt curated for a memorable stay. The home also had strong Wi-Fi, which was a pleasant surprise given its remote setting. And for fishing enthusiasts, this place is a dream! The Trinity River is renowned for its great fishing, and we had amazing success right from the property—perfect for beginners and seasoned anglers alike.Matthew was a fantastic host—responsive, friendly, and provided detailed instructions for check-in and local recommendations. He clearly cares about their guests’ experiences.This is a special home! I highly reccomend this house, whether you're fishing or spending time with family and friends."
