"We were here twice on a return travel from the Netherlands to the south of France. I would rate this location as OK for a transit, I would however not recommend staying here for a longer holiday because it is very noisy especially when there were other guests in the same building. We were warmly welcomed by Christine on arrival, the house was clean and well equipped, with a delightful garden sloping down towards the village 'green' and the river. There is ample seating to eat outside when the weather allows. A car is a must as there aren't any facilities within walking distance of the house. "After not thinking we would be able to holiday due to Covid this was the perfect relaxing retreat. Everything was as we had expected. The log cabin was well equipped and comfortable. The gifts on arrival ( goats cheese , apple juice, jam and cider ) were all lovely and a nice touch. Roaming chickens and cats were an added delight with some eggs given to us in the week. Perfect break."
