Teritoria le Château de Besseuil

"Wow, what a room we had. We stayed in the family suite. It was huge and would recommend you stay here. There is no A/C in the room but the huge windows helped with the breeze. There were a few things that was not great but the room made up for it. If we would have known we would of stayed more nights. The Chateau has a vineyard attached to it, and we were able to walked and watched the harvesting of the grapes. The few things we encountered were when we arrived early, we were told that there would be no check-in before 4PM, but were offered towels for the pool. Being from Canada we are use that if the room is ready and guest are early, they allow early check-in ( on check out we notice that they do charge for early check-in but were not offered it when we got there )The pool and yard were nice, could do with a little maintenance around the flooring at the pool area. Yes I would recommend anyone to stay there."
Novotel Mâcon Nord – Porte de Bourgogne

"We have stayed here a few times as a nice place to stop on our road journey from the UK to Italy and back. The hotel is very conveniently located just off the A6 autoroute so doesn’t involve a big detour. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Parking the car is very easy, and there are a few EV chargers. The grounds are quite spacious with some green spaces, we were able to give our dog a good walk around the exterior of the hotel. The breakfast is really nice with a decent choice of hot and cold food. We did eat in the restaurant in the evening one time, the food was fairly ordinary, and it was very busy and quite disorganised when we came to pay, somehow we ended up paying for the wrong table, but they did sort it out in the end."

"I arrived on the hottest day of the year but the room was cool and the aircon worked wonders! Good, if a bit limited, choice for dinner; excellent wines by the glass. I recommend an early morning swim in their pool!"
Hotel Saint Regis

"Our accommodations at Hotel St. Regis were good and provided us a perfect location to walk to and see the finish of Stage 12 of the 2026 Tour de France. Classic French building in the heart of Chalon-sur-Saone. Air conditioner was a little weak but we did what the locals do and opened the large floor to ceiling windows and that kept us comfortable for the night in spite of the ongoing heatwave. The hotel is on a busy street but is in walking distance of several plazas, the canal, and many restaurants. Also, there is dedicated and secured parking just a block from the hotel. If your travel plans include Chalon-sur-Saone, you should consider a stay in Hotel St. Regis!"

"A comfortable and fairly convenient option in Chalon-sur-Saone, The main restaurant areas are closer to the river so a bit of a walk, the staff were all very nice and the room was functional (no view, no frills) but clean and the bed was comfortable."

"Our welcome was impeccable with excellent recommendations. Such a lovely, attentive host. Room clean, comfortable & cool, thanks to A/C. Pool area great & quiet. Parking felt very safe & good restaurant (La Flambée) cheap petrol almost opposite. All on one level for less mobile guests. Highly recommend."
