"Die FeWo liegt sehr ruhig in dem kleinen Örtchen Goustranville, im Weiler Hameau de St. Clair, mittig in der Küstenregion der Normandie. Zur Autobahn sind es nur fünf Minuten, um Ziele wie Rouen (80 km), Mont St.Michel (150) oder – wenn man will – Paris (200) zu erreichen. Lokale Attraktionen wie die faszinierenden kleinen Örtchen Beuvron-en-Auge und Cambremer oder auch der Strand sind nah dabei. Auch Bayeux und die Landungsstrände sind recht gut zu erreichen Die FeWo hat alles was man braucht...

In the heatwave we managed to keep cool enough by arranging air to come in through open windows, but keeping shutters almost closed. There is no air con and there are no electric fans.The bedrooms are big enough and the beds comfortable. There is plenty of space to park. There is plenty of dining space inside and out. "The house is set at the end of a very rural drive through the French countryside. Whilst VERY rustic, it has all the amenities you would expect, but is a compromise between a pretty old building and modern refurbishment. Perhaps not for everyone, but we loved it. P.S. mind your head on the beams upstairs."
