"We really enjoyed our stay at this Uptown gem. Our dates were 1st week of March so a little cold, but we did brave one walk down to the park and lake and it was amazing. So many people were out walking, biking and running: seems like a really active part of the city. I can only imagine how amazing it would be from spring -fall. "The check-in process wad easy and communication with the host, Brenda was excellent. She was quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. We knew it was a 2nd level upstairs unit and the place was clean and cozy. However, the place was a little older and kind of chilly at times, and the floor boards were squeaky so we tried our best not to make too much noises. Not sure if the older heaters worked or not but we didn't have any thicker blankets to utilize to keep warm. *Please bring...

"Hosts were great. When the weather turned unusually warm, they offered to install a window A/C unit, but by the time I saw their message in VRBO, it was too late to have them install the A/C. That's my way of lauding them for keeping in touch and so I would only recommend that future guests check their VRBO messages early in the day and often during the stay. My only wish would be for a separate washer/dryer. The combo washer/dryer does not fully dry clothes and it's very loud when the "dry"...

"This is a pleasant apartment for a week’s stay. The location was highly convenient with nearby access to a wonderful grocery store (Lunds), a great bakery (Black Walnut), wonderful restaurants, and glorious walks around neighboring lakes). We had our own off street parking spot. The hostess was very gracious. The apartment was well heated. It had sufficient room. We plan to check first to see if this apartment is available whenever we return to Minneapolis."
