"This was a wonderfully secluded location! Quite a ways from the nearest larger town and extremely quiet. We really enjoyed our stay during our group trip and made a day trip into Acadia as part of our time there. Steuben and Milbridge are both very small, cute towns that are nearby. We enjoyed this being our home base for adventuring and were grateful to be outside of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor."

"My aunts, mom, and I had a great stay. It’s so quiet and peaceful there. The house was very clean and spacious. There are four bedrooms- one on the first floor and three on the second. There are no restaurants nearby, but Machias has several, and it’s about 30-40 minutes away from the house. We had an excellent view of the water, and Beals Island was just over the bridge, and it had beautiful views, as well."

"We had a great stay! Nice quiet property not far from schoodic which is a must see while visiting! Highly recommend Chipmans Wharf down the road for seafood. We took a puffin cruise that was a few mins from the house and it was great! Thanks Steve!"

"Overall this was a lovely property with an excellent 2nd story great room. It was fun to watch the changing tides. The only drawback is the description. This is not really a 3-bedroom property. One bedroom is great. The 2nd "bedroom" is the futon in the 2nd story great room, with no privacy. The 3rd bedroom is in an unappealing cold, damp basement (no bathroom on the basement level). It is fine for a couple or a family that could put someone on the futon, but it was awkard for 2 couples."
