"This place deserves bonus stars, 5++! The house was amazing. We fell in love with it right away. I could sit and watch the river flow all day. So peaceful. This wonderful home had so many thoughtful amenities; so many comfy spots with lots of pillows and warm blankies. It really made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. I would love to stay here again."

Two caveats - the home is on a fairly busy street, so there was some street noise, but I'm a heavy sleeper and it didn't bother me. It's a ways from downtown Seattle - 45 minutes; it's not a terrible drive, but multi-lane interstate with pretty heavy traffic all the time. If most of your plans are in Seattle, it may be a ways. "

"Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. "Beautiful property right on the water. The forest cabin was warm and cozy and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen stocked with the essential equipment, and the screen in the loft was a nice touch - I was able to plug in my laptop via HDMI and stream movies in bed. If I was there for work, I would've been able to use it to work on as well. There are trails on the property for hiking, and it is a short walk down to the beach. "Our family couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay in the waterfront cottage! It was nicely kept, clean, and cozy! We bought steak at a nearby grocery store and used the grill out in the balcony! It was very easy to use and the steak was cooked to perfection! I love how the whole place receives so much natural lighting and the place was very well maintained and decorated.
