"I feel like the ad could show better, how the unit !2 that I stayed in is on the top level of a small house style motel-ish location that has a very narrow stairway, that doesn't allow you to hold luggage to your side as you go up and down them. The steps are also short. There should also be mention that there isn't any elevator. Inside the unit there is a 10 inch tall step up into the bathroom as well. I stayed because they carried my luggage upstairs for me but there was no help on check...

"The location is beautiful, clean, and private. The hosts are very kind. They are very responsive. The stay was peaceful and refreshing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! A slice of paradise for sure! We even saw some porpoises in the Sound! The only downside and it's VERY minor. There truly is NOT a kitchen or kitchenette in the property. "This cozy studio is on gorgeous property. Two feeders outside the windows attracted more kinds of birds than we ever spot in the city. Our dog saw her first horses and seemed to be impressed. The beach was a short walk away, and the views across the water to Mt. Rainier were exceptional. We loved the quiet at the studio and the easy access to interesting parks and wonderful views."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We had a minor hiccup upon checking but it was rectified in a matter of minutes. The lakefront was calm and peaceful and very scenic. We enjoyed the rare treat of northern lights!! The accommodation was well appointed and spacious and had everything we needed. My mattress was enclosed in a plastic case which was a bit strange and crinkly but didn’t interfere with my sleep. Having the extra half bathroom was much appreciated and the caretaker was kind and thoughtful....

"A coworker and I opted to stay here instead of a hotel near our conference at the Tacoma Convention Center. We stayed in #1, an older but very clean two-bedroom unit with a nicely remodeled kitchen, very comfortable beds, and a nice large bathroom. The owner was friendly and very quick to respond to questions through VRBO. One thing to note...This unit has a ramp for easy entry on the street side, but the assigned parking area is on the back side and there are two sets of stairs to climb."

"From viewing online and booking, through packing up to return home, this was an awesome place to stay in Gig Harbor! Troy and Jolie were amazingly kind and welcoming, and Lucy was friendly and the best behaved dog ever. Everything was picture perfect and a terrific place from which to explore. Quiet and peaceful, gorgeous landscaping, comfy bed, pleasant shady patio with chairs and footstools for a place to read, etc. For sure, would book here again (and again)."

"For one the lock DID NOT ALWAYS LOCK. Place had 1 used big towel also an used little towel. There were fruit flies in the bed room. The bed room TV does NOT HAVE AN REMOTE. Also the WiFi password and network given to you is correct and didn’t pop up on cell phones or Xbox system"

"Great property with an awesome view. A few things could be better mentioned, it is a lower of a duplex, no one was upstairs when we were there so no factor. You cannot reach the beach as you are basically on a cliff 30-40 ft drop, but still a nice view. Some reviews picked on the remodel...sure things could have been done better, but for a rental very nice, a few quirks with switches but nothing major. Would like a pizza pan and cutter : ) Served our purpose and we would stay again! Very secure...
