"This particular Microtel was clean, comfortable, and convenient and the hotel staff was very friendly and accessible. We would stay here again when in the area. . Definitely recommend keeping the second lock on the door at all times because despite the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the knob, housekeeping let themselves in without knocking. Never had that happen before. "

"Clean, comfortable, peaceful place to step away and unwind. Chris is the best kind of host; all needs are addressed promptly and efficiently, he is not intrusive in the least but always available, and has thought of everything at the cabin to make it an easy, effortless stay. The surroundings are peaceful: river, woodchucks, birds, and foxes lend themselves to an enchanting atmosphere but never come too close to bother. Passing trains and churchbells are a thing, but again, add to the unique charm of the place. Looking forward to next time. Oh, and the plane on the roof of the building is icing on the cake!"

"This accommodation worked great for us. Great location for a ride on the Erie Canal Trail. It isn’t a fancy place but has eating and antiques nearby. There is a working kitchen for those who want to cook or make coffee and a living area separate from bedroom. You will find a do it yourself bike shop area across the street in the mill across the street. There is no reception desk so go into the restaurant/bar below or the old stone mill across the street for information. The other thing to note is there are two flights of stairs to get to the room. It all worked for us."
