"We recently stayed at The Inn at Houndslake during our trip to Aiken for Nationals, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. While Expedia was incorrect about the property having an on-site bar and restaurant—this is actually part of a country club—we were still very happy with our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. They even provided a few items we had forgotten at home, which made a big difference. Our room was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. In the evenings, our kids especially loved the fresh-baked cookies and hot chocolate—it was such a thoughtful touch! The pool was also a huge hit with the whole family. We’ll definitely be returning to The Inn at Houndslake for future Nationals events. Highly recommend! "

"When we check-in the lady at the desk was absolutely the nicest person we met at a hotel on our trip. She was pleasantly accommodating and helpful. We was able to get our room right in front of the pool like we wanted. She brought free towels and rags to our room and made sure we knew she was there to assist us in whatever we needed. We are planning on coming back to the area in a couple weeks and will be staying at this hotel."
