"My entire family (myself, husband, 11yo, 9yo, and 2yo) had a wonderful time. Property was beautiful and peaceful. Our cabin was very well cared for and set up beautifully. My boys loved the Murphy bed! Pool was a highlight for the kids, and the fire pit and patio grill space was ours! Other cabin families were pleasant and coincidentally also from Iowa! Remote location but also not too far from town and shopping. "

"This cabin is in a great location! We had access to everything we wanted to see during our stay. The description was accurate, but be aware that the ceiling is sloped, as in the pictures. A really tall person might feel cramped, especially in the bathroom, but it did not cause us any problems. There is a little distant road noise from the highway in the mornings and evenings but later in the evening and at night it was very tranquil. "Amy and Paul were excellent hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From story telling to sharing meals it was a true western experience. The bonfire and hot tub were nice to relax by at the end of the night. This is a great place to stay for anyone looking to get out of the city and meet some amazing animals and hosts!"

"Can't say enough about positive things about this stay, As someone needing a place that accommodates a pair of dogs, I couldn't have asked for more. An easily accessible yard coupled with a rustic cabin that is both comfy and pet friendly is not an easy find. We had another couple stay with us and we all appreciated the surroundings (beautiful neighborhood surrounded by parks great for both people and dog walking) and easy access to both the Black Hills and and the conveniences of Rapid City....
