"Pros: good price, decent view, good space, close to a station, bed was comfortable, easy self-check out and decent free complimentaries Cons: Bed linen was DISGUSTING, looked like it had MOLD or something of the sort (black spots) in the linen and there was no one at receiption so we couldn't get it replaced, the overhead fan above the stove was filthy, there was food or something stain beside the bed, the fan for the bathroom was so loud you could hear it outside the room, the toilet paper was...

"Lanson Place in Melbourne is an extremely nice hotel. I was pleasantly surprised on all accounts. The hotel lobby/lounge is beautifully designed, the rooms are also very well appointed with beautiful views and the gym is especially nice!"

"Location is ideal if you are attending any sporting events as it is on the border of AAMI park with easy access to Rod Laver arena and beyond. Richmond and all the bars and restaurants is just a corner away. I was very happy with the location. There is some road noise at night but nothing that limits your sleeping."

"The Langham Melbourne is a gorgeous hotel, elegant and lovely staff. I always love a stand alone shower in a hotel - though the shower head could be further out from the wall). The only things that could be addressed is perhaps it is time for new mattresses, as the current ones have obvious dips and quicker service at the bar (we waited over 20 minutes for cocktails at 5PM on a Friday evening). Overall a gorgeous hotel, would stay again."

"Great overall stay! Did find the bathroom sink far too small though and each time using it would need to mop up the water on the floor. Breakfast was excellent at the Venom Brewery. One suggestion would be to get a professional coffee machine. Found coffee to be sub par for Melbourne standards. Enjoyed tasting some great beers and loved the spicy wings. Will definitely stop in again next time in Melbourne."
