"Exceeded expectations!Words don't do justice to the experience we enjoyed at "Water's Edge" - this lakehouse is AWESOME! The house is BIG (3 levels means lots of space for extended families). There is so much to do onsite (the dock, kayaks, basketball, ping pong, relaxing, grilling, TONS of board games and yard games too). And the location is great because it's on the same side as Greenwood proper (which means easy access to Publix, Chickfila, Outback, The Mall, and more). We enjoyed the dock most of all - just relaxing on the porch swing or chairs on the dock and floating in the water listening to some music was exactly what we were looking for. We also cooked family dinners at night, baked cookies, had Ping Pong Championships, caught a couple fish, and even had a 3-generation Monopoly game which was a blast. Watching a scary movie together was exciting. Outside the home we rented a boat from Skippers, hiked the Lake Greenwood State Park and isited the 96 Historical Site. In short, our family vacation was FANTASTIC and Water's Edge was a big reason why. The hosts Randy and Cathy were very responsive and friendly and I was amazed at how well stocked the property was - literally every thing we could have needed for our stay was already provided for us. Clearly Randy and Cathy care about the experience of their guests and their love of Waters Edge is evident. The keepsake coffee mug was an unexpected surprise! We look forward to staying at Water's Edge again! Thanks :)"

"This is a very old property, so make sure you understand that going in. To us it was the classic "lake house" experience. Fabulous view of the lake from a large screened porch. A short boat ride to many of the main places you'd like to visit for food or drinks. Comes well appointed with everything you need for your stay. We had some pretty bad storms the night we arrived, and the host checked on us 1st thing the next morning. The elevated position above the lake is the perfect vantage point to take in the lightning displays in the distance. We'll book here again."
