"Generally very good. Convenient location, right next to the subway station and can be accessed through underground walkways. Great city view and very compact but efficient room design.
One of the nights was a bit noisy. Ambulance alarms can be heard a few times throughout the night. Lack of the sign to the hotel is another issue."

"As with small hotels in Japan you do not raise expectations on space. Equally the Meitetsu Grand is small but practical with everything in place. The major plus is the super great location in the prime heart of train, bus station and shopping malls, food options. On top of that it has options for self washing/drying clothes which is must have in summer if you are on a longer stay. The service is another strong point of this hotel. You make a request or maintenance call and it is fixed immediately. I once had water leak from the air-conditioning on some books and they not only fixed it but compensated for the replacement. The prices also are reasonable especially those on long stays."

"We stayed three nights and the hotel was very nice! We are a family of four so got two rooms, which was admittedly a bit of a splurge for us. The hotel connects to Kanayama station, which was quite convenient. Hotel staff was very kind. They pointed us to a delicious ramen place a short walk away. There’s also a solid CoCo Ichiban nearby. The bell desk helped us forward our bags. In-house laundry seemed steep, but that was on me for not planning better. It was a great stay!"
