"The front desk attendant lied to us. We explained that our flight was delayed. I bought hotel protection. The front desk told us, not to worry. We were later told that we had to check out. So we were CHEATED out of one night. I will fight this until the end."

"This hotel has a lot going for it. Once inside you wouldn’t even know the city of Manta was just outside. The Bungalow area with pool is easy on the eyes and the room inside and out was very comfortable and welcoming. Next visit to Manta we will plan a longer stay for sure. For beach or shopping and local eateries it is a very convenient location. To top it all the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to help make our stay perfect."

"The rooms are clean and comfortable; Wi-Fi worked well and there was hot water in the shower. I had prepaid with Expedia, but I was asked to pay again in cash at check-in. With my limited Spanish I was able to show my receipt and that was sufficient. The key fob is huge; the idea being that you will hand in your key if you leave the property rather than take it with you. That way they can control access to who is coming and going. It was a nice one night stay. "

"We always write what we did like and what we didn't like so much. Onto the not so much to get to the awesome! The only thing we can think of is we didn't feel as secure as we could have with the room. The windows can't be left open (screens) if you want your items as protected as possible that makes it stuffy and warmer in the room when you are gone. However, staff is around, it's a close knit community, theft would be rare and would probable come from a guest. We DID like the staff, amazing owner, under some difficult circumstances the owner really helped us out. The courtyard is pretty, hammocks to relax in. Easy to walk to the beach or grab groceries etc. We would stay there again! "

"Really easy to find, desk staff spoke English enough to make check in easy. She was very friendly, informative, and helpful. They have a secure parking lot, which gave me piece of mind seeing I had just purchased a new car hours before arrival. "
