Strachan Lodge Apartment 1 is a 3 bedroom lake side apartment with wonderful lake views.

Strachan Lodge Apartment 1 (Upstairs) sleeps 6 adults in comfort. The master bedroom has a queen bed, en-suite bathroom and built-in robe. The lakeside bedroom has a double bed and walk in robe. The middle bedroom has two single beds and built-in robe. The main bathroom has a shower/bath and separate toilet.

The lounge room and kitchen has reverse cycle air conditioning.

The fully stocked kitchen includes dishwasher, oven, stovetop, fridge/freezer, espresso machine, toaster and kettle. There is an open fireplace in the living room and oil heaters in each bedroom, in addition to underfloor heating in the bathrooms and laundry. The laundry is equipped with washing machine and dryer.

The private balcony boasts the best views in Jindabyne, and includes a gas Weber BBQ and outdoor furniture. It has a full kitchen, open fireplace, 2 bathrooms, balcony, private laundry, Weber gas bbq.

Linen and towels are included.

The maximum number of guests allowed is 6 including children.(Sorry fire and council regulations)

No smoking. No pets.

Beautiful views

This 3 bedroom unit has a wonderful view of the lake and is well positioned in Jindabyne. A little more lighting would be nice in the loungeroom and the decor is a little dated. Whilst the kitchen is compact, everything you need to prepare a meal is provided. The loungeroom is a good size for a unit, but 2 of the seats are fixed around the fireplace. 2 beanbags are also provided. The only other lounge chair is quite low. We really enjoyed the place but more comfortable seating would be beneficial for wet days when you are in the unit a lot of the day. The open fire place is lovely but the strong smell of fire greets you every time you enter. All in all it was a lovely unit to stay in and would recommend to others.

Great Location, Comfy Lodgings

Spent 3 nights here and whilst the property is looking in need of a bit of TLC it was a very pleasant stay. It is well located within walking distance to Jindabyne Town - shops, restaurants and pub. As it had a fireplace we noticed the initial aroma of previous fires upon entry but over time it was less noticeable. Beds were cosy and we felt warm inside even thought it was quite cold outside. The view of the lake was amazing and on our last full day we got to sit on the balcony area and take it all in while enjoying a drink in the sunshine. Great value property.

Great place for snowy holiday

Nice location and property, got everything as described. Beautiful view and quiet at night. Host Jeanne was really nice to help us out when we left behind a pair of earrings as well.

Great spot for a skiing adventure

The property is on the lakefront with some beautiful views. Very conveniently located close to restaurants, shops and an easy drive to the skitube. Rooms are spacious and the unit is well equipped for an enjoyable stay. Fireplace is a bonus during cold evenings.

Great place to rest & recharge

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the location and views were perfect. The apartment was very well appointed with everything needed to make an enjoyable stay. I will say that the apartment needs a really good deep clean, also the lounge lacked comfort to sit and watch the amazing views. And as other's have previously mentioned whist the fire is nice unfortunately the smoke inside wasn't pleasant. All in all we definitely hope to stay here again in the future.

Amazing view

Cosy with amazing views. Enjoyed the sun streaming in through the lounge windows in the afternoon, overlooking the lake, and the open fire in the evenings. Great location not far from shops.

Fabulous view

We thoroughly enjoyed the location - the view over the water and the proxomity to shops and eating places. Although an older property, we found it to be well stocked - and a washing machine is always a plus. As two couples, we found the place very comfortable. Our only concern was an inability to contact the owner until the following morning, after the sliding door onto the deck came off its track and couldn't be closed. Not wanting to leave it open overnight, we had to force-close the door. Once the owner made contact the following morning, a handyman was summoned to make running repairs.
