"I realise it is an older hotel but the bathroom looked like very little had been done to it in the past 50years. The shower had obviously been repaired at some point an actually had a very unattractive checker plate panel in the middle of the wall. The soap holder was very loose and couldn't hold anything at all. The main room has obviously been repainted and recarpeted which was nice. We were very disappointed there wasn't a toaster as that what we had planned for breakfast. The eyelet curtains are falling apart and should be replaced. For the price that was paid it was very disappointing, but it was incredibly convenient to the wedding reception we attended across the road. We also dined at the bistro and appreciated the discount because of our booking, however it was the smallest steak in history with a very large price tag. The 3 prawns on top were bigger than the actual steak."
