"If you book directly thru hotel you get a $10 breakfast voucher. Myself and other guests did just that on line and were redirected to third party sites ie... hotels.com, expedia and such when we booked months earlier. None of us got vouchers even though we started on hotel site and the site sent us elsewhere to book the rooms. When staying at hotels,we look for brkfst included to help save money like most travelers do these days. We are in 3 different hotels on this vacation for 7 nights total (5 weeks on the road next month). The other two hotels offer free brkfst to all guests no matter how they booked their stay. We are all guests at the hotels and probably paying different rates but still we all get brkfst. It's kind of strange that in the dining room you overhear wait staff asking each table if they have a voucher or not. Doesn't make sense and a few other guests were not very happy as they complained to each other at their tables after the wait staff walked away. Nobody really had a good explanation as to why it's this way except that its just been this way and we are not sure why and alot of people complain to us about it. This sounds very trivial but when in the elevator guest say how nice it was to get discounted on the same breakfast you just paid full price for, we'll it kind of rubs you the wrong way"
