"We stayed at this home for two nights to be closer to the airport before flying out of San José, and it was just what we needed. The property manager was fantastic—very responsive and communicative every step of the way. The location was ideal, only about 20–25 minutes from the airport, which made travel day so much easier.We really enjoyed the pool and the lush, tropical grounds—it was a peaceful and relaxing spot to unwind. The house itself worked well for our short stay. If I had to offer any suggestions, it would be to consider a few updates to the home and provide some additional bedding, especially if you plan to use the air conditioning at night.That said, the property served its purpose perfectly, and we would definitely stay again!"

"Henry was a terrific host. He gave us lots of advice on restaurants and attractions nearby and he responded quickly to any questions we had. The house was nicely situated on the ocean - we sat under the veranda watching the waves roll in, the lightning strike and the ships go by. There was everything we needed in the house. It was a bit out of the way - quite far from Monteverde for example. We rented a car and would have been lost without it.We missed the sunsets because of the weather so will have to come back again!"

"Unknown to us, Punta Leona and Playa Blanca are inaccessible unless you are staying within the private area. The view from the condo was stunning, and it was just as described in the listing. I will note that I would recommend bringing groceries with you, as the road out of the area is about 15 minutes (and who would want to leave once you arrive?). Herve was extremely thorough with directions to the place (it would be hard with the detail) and was very responsive throughout the process. "

"We loved our stay at Akua Ocean View Suites. The room was very clean and felt very luxurious. We had our very own plunge pool which always felt peaceful and was wonderful to relax in after a long day. The kitchenette was perfect and had everything we needed."
