We love the property and enjoyed staying there. It's very close to restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Jerome is a place that I highly recommend to people who haven't visited yet. And this was a wonderful place to stay.

We loved everything about our stay! The house was spotless, thoughtfully updated, beautifully decorated, and even more gorgeous than the photos. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. It was easy to locate, easy to check in, and provided a perfect holiday setting for our family of four and our lazy old lady dog. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were cozy, and we loved stargazing from the porch. Jerome is such a magical place, we’ve stayed in 7 or 8 vacation rentals in town and this is definitely our favorite so far. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The Zamar House is a beautifully maintained historic home, perfectly decorated. Yet it has all the modern amenities to make our stay amazing. Within walking distance to Jerome's shops and restaurants!

The house was great tons of room. If you are older than 50 I don’t recommend this house the stairs down to the house and the lower floors are very steep and filled with foliage you will crash and burn. Very cool vintage house to stay in.

Zamar house was perfect for our 3 couples that had been in residency together. It is decorated really nice! The beds are comfortable, and we each had our own bathrooms. The neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed cooking, eating, and playing cards, as well as walking around Jerome. Zamar house was the perfect place for us to gather.

My (adult) family visited Jerome and this was our second time back to the Zamar House. It is conveniently located close to town with off-street parking. Each member of our family had their own comfortable bedroom and bathroom. We also appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking breakfast or dinner at the house. We hope to return again someday!

Great vacation rental. Everything you could possibly need is included. The house is decorated with so many special touches. Close enough to walk into town for restaurants, shopping and nightlife.

This is a beautiful old home that is quiet and calming. Our group was 4 ladies of various ages, and we all had an amazing stay - we even chose to stay in a couple nights and just enjoy the views. Our Host was so accommodating and welcoming, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Five Stars all the way!

This house was perfect for our girls weekend in Jerome. A 10 minute walk or a 3 minute drive to all the shops and restaurants. Yes there are stairs and the house resides on a hill but that is Jerome! Loved it! And would happily go back here.

This property is an absolute gem! Every inch holds artistry and antiques! The view is stunning! So quiet and peaceful. It’s in a quirky crooked area, a perfect sample of Jerome. Loved it so much!

This is the best experience we have ever had with a VRBO. The place was beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located. It is quiet at night and feels safe. We really enjoyed our time here and are already making plans to come back. We love Jerome, and staying in this well kept, historic home was incredible. Thank you for the love you put into the Zamar House! It does not go unnoticed!!

We were very excited for our stay at Zamar House - not only did it not disappoint, but it exceeded our expectations. The house is incredibly comfortable and decorated in an eclectic style. Everything we needed was included. I must mention the beds - the mattresses were fantastic! We have rented 7 different properties in Jerome over the years and this is far and away our favorite. We will return and highly recommend this property for anyone looking to explore beautiful Jerome.

Finely detailed, spacious, immaculate, beautiful, comfortable .... these are just a few of the adjectives I could use to describe this property. Nicely separated space for a number of people. Fascinating period pieces add to the ambiance, and the views are wonderful. Great walking access to town, and FANTASTIC parking -- a real rarity in Jerome!

We arrived at the Zamar house and were delighted to find a perfect get a way for our girls weekend. The house has been renovated beautifully with such a wonderful attention to detail. I loved the decorating which created a beautiful place to hang out and visit. The beds are so comfortable that I slept like an angel. Thanks to Gretchen our every request and question were answer quickly.

We stayed for a girl's weekend and enjoyed wine tasting in Page Springs and Jerome - the house was amazing! All the charm of a home from 1902 with all of today's amenities. We loved being able to cook our own breakfast - the kitchen has everything you need and then some. The bedrooms (and whole house) are decorated so cute and fun. And the mattresses were outstanding, seriously, better than my own at home! We walked to town for dinner one night, jogged down to the park for a workout one morning and just enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch!

We stayed in Zamar house for a friends 50th birthday weekend. We had an absolute blast! The house is fantastic! We loved the layout, the decorations, and the wonderful touches throughout. Whoever did the remodel and the decorating deserve a gold star! The house is immaculate and adorable with a combination of old world charm, fun and funky decorations, and new appliances and technology. The beds were divine! Super comfy with beautiful linens. I highly recommend Zamar house!

This vacation rental went above and beyond my expectations. This place that makes you feel like you are at home. Cosy, clean and charming! The porches were nice, relaxing and have exceptional views, the kitchen was fully equipped making it perfect for cooking and eating meals. The claw foot tub is super relaxing. All the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The entire place is just amazing! We will be back for another stay! We will be booking this home again in the near future.

We had such a good time at the Zamar house. It was large enough to host my party of four and we all still had plenty of privacy. We sat on the porch to take in the view and got to listen to the neighbor play guitar well into the evening. We all enjoyed breakfasts together in the well appointed kitchen and had a ton of fun walking back and forth to the shops and restaurants that were right up the road. Gretchen has put a lot of time and energy into the beautiful decor and I can't wait to see the garden when its all complete!

We stayed with 2 other couples and had a fantastic time. The owner met us at the house, showed us around and even explained the history of the house. It is beautifully furnished with lots of cool details and had everything we needed. We cooked dinner one night and had all the pots, pans, dishes we needed. It's close to lots of things to do and one day we went to Page Springs for wine tasting and one morning we walked to a restaurant for breakfast. The view is outstanding and I loved having my coffee on the deck looking at the Verde Valley and red rocks. Can't wait to go back!

Everyone should visit Jerome, such a fun place! Zamar House was such a great place. Comfortable beds, great kitchen, beautiful outdoor areas with expansive view. The bathrooms were awesome, great showers, claw foot tub. Easy walking to great shops and restaurants. The property is well maintained and the outside lighting was great. The stairs leading downstairs can get a little slippery when wet. Would recommend with house for couples and families with older children because of all the steps. Gretchen was great to work with and was truly interested in making sure we had a great stay! We are planning to make staying at Zamar House an annual event.
