"This was our first experience with a floating house, we have rented houseboats on other lakes in the past. It's like a bigger, nicer houseboat and you don't have to worry about generator fuel. lol. The jumping deck and slide kept the kids entertained nicely. The covered sitting areas were a blessing ..."

Good for the price but not as nice as it looks
"I gave it a 4 but it’s really a 3.5. Good location on the water. Great view. Plenty of beds (two families, total of 9 people). Dock was ok / sufficient for a weekend. Jet ski port was great. There’s not really a fire pit at the property… it’s just a circle of concrete blocks close to two buildings ..."

Overall, small town with nothing to do... we travel to jellico for a family reunion. The biggest store is save-a-lot, the rite-aid closed. The public pool closed years ago. The park is always nice to visit but beyond that there isn’t much else.

This is not a town - it's a stop along the interstate. HOWEVER, as random as this may seem, if you stay here, don't miss dining at Reggae Roc's! Great Jamaican food in the hills of Tennessee!! "Who knew, man?? Enjoy ..."
