"Our stay at the Residence Inn on Jekyll Island was absolutely wonderful and exceeded every expectation. The room was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with a full kitchenette that made our stay feel both convenient and luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities throughout the property were top notch. We loved having a Starbucks on site (although it was with limited hours), as well as the bistro and bar for easy dining options. The pool area was gorgeous, but our favorite spot was the courtyard with the fire pit. Sitting there in the evenings, listening to the ocean and enjoying the views, was pure relaxation and quickly became our favorite place to be during our stay. The staff truly made this experience exceptional. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially the gentleman who checked us in, and Lorena, who works the evening shifts. Her hospitality, kindness, and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our entire stay. She went out of her way to ensure everything was comfortable and enjoyable, and we are so grateful for her warmth and professionalism. We visit Jekyll Island every year around this time for our anniversary, and this was our first stay at this hotel, but it will not be our last. We will absolutely be returning next year. Highly recommend! "

"We had a wonderful weekend getaway! The room was really nice and spacious, clean, bed was comfy, nice toiletries stocked in bathroom. Loved the balcony. Couldn’t see the beach through the trees, but that was expected based on the pictures. The boardwalk to the beach through the mangroves was so pretty and the beach was great. Staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was unexpectedly good and had a big selection. We couldn’t ask for a better weekend getaway, and can not wait to come back with the kids!!"
