"This is quite the place, a log cabin right on the bank of the Ohio River. This property is off the “beaten path” and very remote. The rental is very rustic looking, yet has all the amenities we could ask for; WiFi, air conditioning, stove, dishwasher, and comfortable furniture. It is truly a gem. My only thought is that the WiFi didn’t connect well in the “far reaches” of the master bedroom. I’d planned a last minute trip to visit family that lives nearby and the PGA was in town, so this was the only place I could find to stay. "We were extremely happy with this rental - the cabin was clean and the giant screened in front porch with three big nice rocking chairs was perfect and where we spent much of our time. The sheets and blankets were of higher quality than usually see at cabin rentals and this made everyone have really great nights of sleep! The location is gorgeous with beautiful hills and nature around. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive. We will definitely stay again if in the area, loved it!"

"Pros: The land surrounding this cabin is beautiful and secluded. No cell service and very weak wifi, which is what we were looking for. It was a good size for our family of 4. The cabin itself is very old and really neat. Feels like a piece of history. The small kitchen is stocked with the very basics, missing a few items we needed such as can opener and wine opener. The host was quick to make sure we had access to those. Cons: This cabin is rustic, more rustic than we had anticipated....

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was such a cute little cabin and every detail seemed very well thought out. And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us. "I feel the description of the castle and its accommodations were on point. Nothing to do with the castle itself but Ticks were an issue. The beds were not the most comfortable- but not the worse either. A futon was broken and unusable- this could have been an issue if we had been expecting to use, the door racks to the ref. were missing, icemaker didn't work and dishwasher seal was lying inside (we didn't use). We had plenty of toiletries, towels, dishes, cookware, grill gas, dish soap,body...

"Excellent location and very well maintained property. Only word of caution is that if you stay in the upstairs room, sound carries from the entire house including the back porch so if you’re a light sleeper, this might not be the best spot to sleep."

"Our family goes to the National Farm Machinery Show and Tractor Pulls every year. We have stayed 2 years in this house on the river, it has a beautiful view, the house is very nice and host very easy to work with."

"The property is charming. The shower is a challenge, but fine once you get the hang of it. There are no night tables in the bedrooms so make sure you have long power cords for phone chargers, cpap machines, etc. The neighborhood is great. Highly recommend Geraldine’s for breakfast, just 2 blocks away"
