"I loved the way this older historic hotel has been renovated. The original floors, lobby and main rooms remind you of its history while the rooms, bedding, and amenities are up to date. The music in the various rooms changes creating an ambiance reminder of the old mixed with the new. Staff is very very attentive. I loved seeing the children at the pool, playing on the extensive lawn and all dressed in their resort casual for dinners. It reminded me of all the special reasons families love this resort. We really enjoyed the "specialness" of this place. "

"Beautiful area, easy drive to White Mountains and North Conway shops. The property was clean and staff were all friendly and helpful with local recommendations! Our room (petite queen) was small but comfortable. The window AC unit worked well to keep us cool at night. The pool and hot tub were both clean and in great condition. You can see many stars from the yard, take a moment to look up at night! Grab-and-go breakfast was bagged blueberry muffin, granola bar, and (nicely chilled!) orange juice. Some variety on flavors would have been nice, but it did the job. Would be happy to stay here again or recommend to a friend!"
