"Very comfortable with an old style"

"We had a nice large room and bathroom. Spotlessly clean with a sofa. A welcoming array of tea/coffee with biscuits. Our only slight disapointment was that breakfast was a little greasy . Excellent location with great friendly staff."

"Don’t expect leisure access."

"The staff was more than helpful, food was superb, room was cosy, because I couldn’t have breakfast they put me up a packed lunch. More than happy to stay again."

"Very nice hotel…..recommended"

"schönes Ambiente, nettes Personal, das Zimmer war recht groß. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich."

"Clean, good location, pleasant staff and overall a good stay. I am happy to recommend this hotel for a stay."

"Convenient location bang in the middle of Selkirk. Hotel has a nice bar and restaurant with attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast very good but, at £35 a head, very expensive."

"Check in was not good. I traveled from a different country and needed wifi to get a code. I had to drive 5 miles to get to a friend to call the owners. The owners were in and out of service so they could only text. When i finally got the proper code. It was 5 flights of steep stairs. It should have been told how many flights of stairs to go with a large suitcase."

"Upstairs bathroom only suitable for very small in height persons.."
