"My family came down to Lake Lanier with our bass boat for a week of fishing. We had a fun time catching spotted bass all week. We plugged extension cords (150’ reaches, but 200’ would give you some slack) into the gazebo to charge the trolling motor batteries every night. The driveway is narrow and steep, but we got our trailer down there to park it by the house for the week. Other than fishing, there was so much neat stuff around. The Georgia Aquarium was worth battling the traffic to Atlanta....

"We picked Ellijay for a 3 day weekend for a quick getaway and somewhere that my husband could mountain bike. This was a perfect spot for us. The property is very well kept. The cabin is well stocked, had everything we needed, as is the RV camper. There is a large fire pit with plenty of wood. The little stream and bridge are a cute addition and you can relax in hammocks or the swing next to the stream. There's an extra building which I don't know what it is but it reminded us of a little old...

"This cabin felt very remote and private but was only a 10 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We wanted a quiet getaway for New Years for our family of 5 and this was perfect. We have three boys and they LOVED being able to walk out in the backyard to fish a stream with trout in it. "The hosts were so friendly, responsive and engaging. We like the rustic setting. The place was clean with nice plush towels, robes and linens. Way better than another place I stayed that labeled itself “luxury”. Even though it’s a nice country setting it was conveniently located to everything we needed to get to."
