"The property itself was great. Owner lives at the property, so that was handy. Nice to have a pool, nice patio. Comfortable bed. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Have to buy coffee pods from owner, unique coffee maker, expensive. Kitchen not well equipped., but doable. Cannot walk anywhere. Too far. No Uber in Curacao, so you have to rent a car (cheapest we found $35.US per day) or taxi. $30.US round trip to most places. $55.US from the airport. "

Information on my VRBO app stated there would be a doorman but we arrived and struggled a bit to gain access. "The location couldn’t be better - directly on the beach! The ocean waves are just a few meters from the balcony. The beach is perfect and usually completely vacant. Snorkeling is amazing right off the shore in shallow water. We saw a whole variety of fish, sea urchins, coral, eels, crabs, etc. There are three restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend the gouda cheese balls from Brisa do Mar and the tuna from Villa Vis! You will definitely want to rent a car to explore the island....
