The from is basic but comfortable and has everything we needed. We walked to the tour bus pickup easily from this hotel, explored Inverness and walked to the train to our next destination. Perfect location!"

"The room was very plain. But the people are so friendly! It is close to the town of Drumnadrochit. You are able to walk into town. There is a café on site. There are also 2 gift shops and a visitor Loch Ness Monster attraction. "

"Our family had the honor of staying in the Mackenzie Apartment - so cool! And HUGE. It’s a legit castle experience without totally breaking the bank. Staff was so friendly, beds were comfortable, food was delicious. Amazing overall stay. "

"Nice, quaint, family run bed and breakfast in Inverness. Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Scottish highlands. Central location, close to downtown in a quiet area with historic buildings from the 1800s."

"The hotel is grand and getting on in years now. For instance the lift is ancient/quaint. However the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel appeared to cater for a number of large coach parties so if you came down for breakfast at the wrong time the dining room was mobbed and you sometimes had to wait for some items. The staff were very pleasant and hard working and on occasion trying to keep up with the rush. Having said that overall we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel/Strathpeffer is very well situated for access to both the east and west coasts of the NC500 which is why we spend 2 nights here on the way out and one on the way back. A short drive to (maybe) see the dolphins at Chanonry Point and just 10 minutes to the Rogie Falls in the other direction."
