"We absolutely loved Bamboo House! It was the perfect first introduction to Harbour Island. It's centrally located to anything you could want to see around the island yet somehow still feels tucked away! The property grounds are beautiful and quiet. The walls surrounding keep out the outside noise, and make you feel safe and secure in an unfamiliar country! The plunge pool was the perfect way to cool off after coming in from the beach, and we spent so much time on the patio hanging out for dinners in. The house itself is a home away from home with a comfortable living area and fully stocked kitchen! The beds are SO comfortable and Olga took great care of us for the entire trip to make sure we had fresh linens and made beds. I couldn't reccomend Pascale, Olga, and Bamboo House more! We'll be back for hopefully many more family trips to our new favorite place :)"

"The Salt Box is an incredibly beautiful property. Unassuming from the entrance, you step into an oasis with tons of charm to boot. We had 4 infant / toddlers that were very comfortable as well."

"Tingum Village was our favorite part of the Bahamas vacation and we did everything there was to do on Harbour Island. We were given authentic Bahamian hospitality. Baby Ruby and all her staff took such good care of us- and were available at all times of the day and night providing sunburn cream, extra towels, and advise about what to do. The restaurant food was delicious, and Mike, our Bahamian chef, even cooked the fish we caught from the boats that day. The continental breakfast was perfect and the coffee was the best on the island. The beach was a short walk and so was the harbor. The internet did not work great and the water pressure in the shower was a little light, but it didn't matter a bit. Air conditioning was awesome and cabins very comfortable and clean. The porch and hammock in the gardens were perfect for a shaded afternoon nap. We loved staying here, and when it was time to leave...I misplaced my cards and they came in to help me look. She found where I had put them but didn't remember. They even gave us a ride to the dock to catch the water taxi. Tingum also had brand new golf cart rentals. We highly recommend the Tingum experience and we can't say enough great things about this gem of a place."

"This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we will certainly return! We choose Sky Beach Club for the onsite bar and restaurant and modern facility. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Minifridge and full size coffee pit meant we could eat in for breakfast and lunch if we chose. Villa 1 and 2 have lovely views of pool with ocean beyond, yet are secluded behind well maintained landscaping. Pool bar under the watch of Sammy was always a fun place to hang out. Drinks were delicious and Sammy a wealth of knowledge about local happenings. We met many new friends here as you can visit to use the pool if you eat/drink from restaurant. Lobster quesadilla was wonderful! The beach in front of resort is the most beautiful we saw! Almost endless stand of deserted beach. Loved it! Bad points - the road into property is REALLY in poor shape. Go slow and rent a 4 wheel vehicle! Checkin was inattentive. They finally texted us the door code hours after arriving though room was ready. Would have been helpful to drop luggage and see fridge etc before we went to get groceries. Overall a fabulous stay! We will certainly go back! "

"We had a wonderful stay here . The staff are amazing and very friendly . They even offered complimentary beach umbrellas beach bags and lovely beach towels . There was a welcome gift on arrival too. Although we didn’t have a patio there was a great outdoor area with shade and garden furniture to relax by so you weren’t confined to your room . Food was also very good . Great location for exploring the north part of the island, Spanish Wells and Harbour Island. You definitely need a car . "

"We enjoyed our 10-day stay. The sweet house was everything we expected—Clean, well designed and organized, and close to Governor’s Harbor as well as points north and south. The weather was hotter than we expected, but AC worked well. I especially enjoyed daily “workouts in the small and very clean pool. Jethro, who lives nearby, was particularly helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend."

"This is a fantastic house in a fantastic location on a fantastic natural island. The house sleeps 8 very comfortably and provides every modern convenience. A refreshing pool is two steps from the back balcony door and diving and snorkeling are a mere 10 yards further in your private back yard with stairwell down to the water. Everyone loved jumping off the ledge into the crystal blue water. Beautiful views from every window in home. Great local restaurants just 3 miles down the road in lovely and quaint Governor’s Harbor. Gorgeous private pink sand beaches within 10 min drive. Twin Cove, French Leave and Banana Beach all were 5 stars! French Leave Resort and Pascal Beach resort with swim up bar added a feel of fine resorts. Locals are very friendly and the property owner responded promptly to all my texts."

"I have been going to Eleuthera for over 20 years. Every home is different and being on a remote island has its challenges for property owners. This home sits on a great beach with plenty of privacy. It was very clean and the check in process was super easy. Some items are worn, but everything works. The bed in the blue bedroom sways and is super soft (the only negative). Awesome view and nice location."
