"We had a lovely relaxing couple of weeks 11-25 May 2024. Karima and Mark were great hosts. The weather wasn’t great unusually for this time of year so we only used the pool a few times which was a shame as I love to swim. We made the most of what good weather we had. My husband loves to cycle so on the dry days he explored the area on his bike. The house was lovely and we had most things we needed."

"The property is spacious and well furnished. We had a full house of 8 adults and two children and had plenty of room. The pool was refreshing and the expansive gardens had plenty of room for a kick about and some racket sports. The area is beautiful and the sunsets were a sight to behold from the patio. The morning mist over the valley was lovely. The house is a great base to explore the Dodrogne. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go again."

"We are two families 4 adults and 4 children (age 6-10) and have recently stayed for 1 week at Chateau Madame. Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. There is a 400m meandering drive up the hillside toward Chateau Madame that provides a secluded and safe setting. The external grounds were ideal for spending the hot weather with ample shaded areas especially as we experienced temperatures in the high 30’s most of the week. The thick stone walls of the chateau meant the inside stayed relatively cool, supported by electric fans which were provide in each bedroom. Chateau Madame, has been sympathetically refurbished to a very high standard with high quality fixtures, fittings, appliances and artwork. The hosts were very conscientious and we appreciated the complimentary provisions on our arrival. We did encounter a problem at the start of our stay due to a communication error which meant we could not enter the property on arrival but this was rectified promptly, it is clear that guest satisfaction is the hosts highest priority. There is lots to explore within a short drive, from spectacular caves, lazy rivers and pretty towns. Chateau Madame has provided a perfect base to explore this beautiful part of France in the most opulent of settings."

"We have just returned from a superb stay in this beautiful farmhouse, which we stayed in for a week as a family - me, my husband, our 2 girls (8 & 11), my mother and our little dog. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The hosts were there to meet us on arrival, did a quick tour and the left us in peace, to go to their home in Bordeaux for the week. The rooms are spacious, and very tastefully decorated - the beds were very comfy - the main shower room in the middle room in particular is lovely. Air con in all rooms was a joy as it was very hot while we were there, although as a stone built building it was well insulated from the heat. We were blessed with stunning weather on our visit so we’re able to fully enjoy the lovely heated pool, the well kept grounds and various outside seating areas and absolute peace. The views and visiting swallows were so relaxing, it’s a stay we’d have happily extended! It’s so close to such lovely places to visit, although we also happily spent many days by the pool. We had a couple of thunderstorms overnight, which cut power temporarily, but a quick text to the owner rectified this as she told us where the fuse box was, so all started up again. The owners were the best I’ve been in contact with so far with regard renting villas - very quick to respond and very lovely people. I would rebook this villa without reservation.
