"Tim was an excellent host and seems to enjoy being a host to others. The property is on the end of a dead end road which limits people going by the property. I was a little sad that patoka lake was not visible from the property. You are able to access Patoka Lake's hiking area within 30 minutes. Marengo Cave is an amazing tour, better than Indiana Caverns! Burton's Farmhouse was the best food I had while staying here. Finn's by Patoka Lake was the worst food. Maybe just don't get breadsticks or a sub there! Overall this was a great place to stay and explore southern Indiana and the Patoka Lake area!"

"It is very clean and has everything you need if you wish to cook; there is a BBQ grill set up on the outdoor patio and a fire pit area—it’s spectacular at night. It is a very peaceful spot if you value privacy, and the area around the cabin is well-kept with the grass neatly mowed. There is plenty of space for children to play, and board games are available. I highly recommend it; Julie was the contact person, and they respond quickly to messages, showing they are attentive, available, and truly care about their guests."

"My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in August. It was very clean and cozy. The host, Karen, provided some supplies for smores as well (much appreciated). We didn't spend a ton of time in the cabin itself since we were visiting with friends in a separate, nearby cabin so some of the amenities we didn't get a chance to use. But we both thought it would be a wonderful place to come back to visit in the future."
