The rooms are not clean. We made a reservation for a non smoking room. Every door down the hallway had no smoking signs but we clearly smelled smoke down the entire hallway. We found a flea in one bed along with dirt. Another bed had sheets and a mattress topper that had been soiled by bodily fluids. The tub was also dirty.We went to the host and asked for a clean room. He went to check out our room and downplayed all of the things we pointed out that needed cleaning. He then offers to show us another room. This room turned out to nearly be a repeat of whag we found in the previous room. One of the beds even had dead skin all over the sheets.
We then just requested a refund. He didn't argue much about it. And he said he would issue a refund. He stated how they have great rates compared to other hotels in the area. He then says we have to contact Expedia for a refund. I requested a receipt and he gave me a paper that I later learned was not an actual receipt for my refund. It was something the host came up with just to pretend to fix the situation. I worked with Expedia and was unable to get my money back. This was a horrible experience and I definitely do not recommend this hotel if cleanliness is important to you.
