"Superb! The Devlin Hotel is number one when we book our accommodations. The room was very clean, air conditioning available but not necessary due to the clean, crisp air of the mountains. Everyone was helpful, pleasant and the coffee... freshly ground first thing in the morning set us up to a fun-filled Lake Placid experience. The proximity of the Devlin in relation to the happenings of Main Street was perfect. Anna, our housekeeper, is a true gem! We couldn't even find a cobweb! Thank you to Anna and to the staff at "The Devlin Hotel" for making our stay absolutely wonderful. When we return to the Lake Placid area... we will happily return to "The Devlin Hotel". Thank you!"

"Opposite Mirror Lake, in the heart of Lake Placid downtown, full of fun and enjoyable experiences with family and friends. 3 nights, 4 days over the weekend. Hospitable staff, king-and-queen like feeling. 4 pools and 15-min jaqquzzi, was all we needed while staying at High Peaks Resort."

"I appreciated the rustic look being a hotel in the Adirondacks. The restaurant next doo r, The Pickled pig made the stay very enjoyable. Enjoyable live music, a real fire pit and the best wings I have ever had !! Breakfast was good, and the woman who at the breakfast bar was very pleasant. the only downside was the room that still had carpet and smelled like they sprayed to cover up odors. they really need to remove all carpets in the rooms !! "Good: Great view from the balcony, very clean and very comfortable room, great Adirondack furnishings and vibes, well appointed kitchen. Only real caution (not really a complaint) is the High Peaks Suite is up two narrow and steep flights of steps, bit of a challenge to get lots of heavy luggage up and down."
