"Very comfortable rooms set around pretty courtyards - one with a lovely pool and another where we ate breakfast and dinner. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food was good. It was pleasant to be able to get a glass of wine or a cocktail- rare in Oman"

"The hotel staff are outstanding. We were there for Oman‘s national day, and they even gave us free pins to wear. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer hotel staff. I don’t understand what this place doesn’t have five stars!"

"I thought the stay was very nice. The staff was nice. The rooms basically look exactly like the picture. They were clean. The AC worked well with comfortable blanket and pillows. The location is just about 5 minutes from the fort and souk. The breakfast was ok. Not as nice as you are going to get at the really nice hotels. But it was good quality. I would stay again if in town."
