"I love this hotel. I have been to the French Quarter many times and have stayed in many lovely hotels but never at Hotel Monteleone. I've drank at the Carousel Bar and have worked out in their gym and sat by the rooftop pool (I stayed at their sister hotel so you get use of the facilities) but have never stayed there. Although it is a bit more expensive than some other hotels in the French Quarter, it is worth it. The hotel is beautiful and the staff treats you like royalty. I really felt pampered. I give it a 100% rating!"

"Of course at no fault of the hotel, it is currently located across from the loudest club on Bourbon. The noise (music) and reverb rocked every night until 3:30AM when it shut off. The hotel provided complimentary ear plugs and a sound machine, and I'm usually pretty noise tolerant, but I couldn't get much sleep with the volume and bass reverb. Of course Bourbon is always rocking, which I expected, have experienced many times, and have always slept through, but this currently is a whole different level of noise and vibration. Will be glad when that club moves on, or goes out of business, so that the hotel can return to the regular sounds of raucousness."

"Location was excellent for everything to do. Parked as soon as we got there and didn't touch the vehicle again until we left. Was able to walk everywhere, and also got around faster than if we would have tried to drive. Only drawback was that the roof top area was closed due to renovations. Would have loved to have seen that. Otherwise, it was a wonderful weekend."

"Visit to New Orleans to celebrate our anniversary was excellent. Homewood Suites staff were helpful from the moment we arrived and were always friendly and responsive to our questions. The property was in great shape and very convenient to the French Quarter and to transportation to the other areas of NOLA. Everything was very walkable, clean and convenient. Breakfast was very good. My only suggestion would be for a little more variety. After the 3rd day we were both ready for a little change in breakfast food. I should also mention that the concierge was extremely helpful in helping us plan our activities and getting discounts on tours for us. We would definitely stay here again."
