"The Intergate is a fine modern hotel that is centrally located and not far from the station. Plenty of local restaurants nearby, walkable neighborhood. The check-in process was chaotic however. They are relying on self-serve machines that are very clumsy and in our case just didn't work. The staff spent more time working with the machine that would be better spent checking in guests in the traditional manner."

"Beautiful location, clean room and excellent onsen to soak in. During our stay, we were treated to a great selection of shampoo/conditioner, ice cream, drinks etc. Food was excellent as well. The hotel offers a free boat ride to Miyajima at 10am and a return trip at 3.30pm (needs reservation). It's a 15-min walk from the train station but you can get an uber if you miss the hotel shuttle. There is also an oyster restaurant next to the hotel, which serves really fresh oysters...visit it if you like seafood!"
