"I come to morioka often and this is so far now my favorite hotel. The room is big for Japan hotels, comfortable bed, clean room, clean bathroom and close to nice shops/restaurants. Staff knew enough English to help me which is very nice. Will definitely be going back. "

"Dormy Inns are fantastic for the extras and this one is no exception. The onsen and sauna are fantastic, and I loved that free ice creams are available after to help cool down. There was also free soba in the evening, free (replenished) bottles of water in the room and little strawberry jellies in the fridge. The room was a decent size for Japan, though I think the hotel is missing an opportunity to put shelves in the entrance lobby area. Space for clothes storage is limited to 6 or 7 hangers. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from Morioka station and on bus routes there, and 5-10 minutes walk into downtown for restaurants and bars. "
