"The house was fabulous , spacious and clean. The beds were already made up and there were plenty of towels .This was a nice surprise as we read that we had to take our own .The lower stairs aren't suitable for toddlers or people with poor mobility ..Paul the owner was easy to contact .The views are spectacular spectacularspectaculaspvery easysuit"

"We enjoyed a lovely week in this beautifully decorated and well equipped cottage. The cottage is well situated for all the amenities Brixham has to offer and although there is no parking with the property, there are plenty of places available within a ten minute walk. Hope to revisit soon."

"Had a lovely stay. The place was really cozy and was exactly what we needed. John was really helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Only comment I would add is that there is no freezer in the property. As we were only there for a long weekend this wasn’t an issue but if we were staying for a week or longer that could have caused a few issues."

"Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. I have been here a few times previously and hope to come many times more…"

"We enjoyed a lovely stay in the house with family of all ages. Plenty of bedroom/ bathroom space with a good sized garden and great location. The location is stunning, but need to be aware there are 138 steep steps to get to beaches ( which are fabulous ) and boat to Salcombe! Not a problem with the house but the beach cafe is currently closed and for sale… limiting amount of local places to eat on East Portlemouth side of estuary. Ferry is easy to get to Salcombe And water taxis also...

"Lovely house, large enough for the 6 of us, although it can sleep more I wouldn’t have wanted to share with anymore than that. Steve was very helpful, no issues apart from maybe check crockery pans etc as there were a lot that needed cleaning before they could be used. Thanks for everything."

"The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property."

"Great location. Lovely accommodation, with all bedrooms great size, lounge large and bright, and a massive dining table. Kitchen had everything you could need, and more crocks than seen anywhere else. All very clean and tidy. A very comfortable home from home for a family holiday including toddlers and dogs. Would definitely think about going back. Our first time to the Salcombe area, which we really enjoyed, both Salcombe and the spectacular surrounding coastline and villages."

"Well if any place can surpasses your expectations, this was it. We are a well travelled family and I can truly say that the photos do not do it enough justice. The property is tastefully decorated and has everything you would need for a holiday. I would add that the dining table is so much nicer than the one in the photo. "Spacious, character, stone built property with a generous garden and sea views. Cool inside during hot weather which was a bonus. Comfortable general areas. Parking for a van plus 2 cars. Quiet location. Steps down to the kitchen are not ideal. Fish pond could be a risk. Suited us very well. A return visit. Highly recommend. So handy for Bantham Beach and for relaxing in the evening."

Situated down a narrow access road, which proved difficult at times but within easy driving distance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. It's position on the South West Coast path meant access to some lovely walks. We were disappointed to find a large caravan park opposite which wasn't mentioned in the property details and the bin...

"We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread. The kids loved the cereal selection and I adored the nespresso every morning on the quiet deck.
