"Owner is a sole-proprietor, and she has several buildings where she uses for her hotel. The downstairs of the main hotel is for eating, live music (usually jazz), and for drinks, small bar. She took well care of me, we went together for a few errands, and I picked up a cold virus, so she took me to the pharmacy, and the option of going to the store, also went to the laundromat, as one dryer she has is broken, but for a few hundred yen, the coin laundry dries it in half an hour. Room was clean, plenty of dishes, and a massage chair for unlimited use. I will definitely stay here again. Authentic rooms."

"Although the property is not exactly updated, it was incredibly clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s located right in front of the beginners lift and was close proximity to the ski school and shuttle pick up. I would definitely stay here again in the future. "

"Property was amazing. Staff was kind enough to accommodate my request for a private onsen room. Which I should have booked initially but didn't realize was an option. Shuttle bus stop at the front door will take you to various ski resorts in the area. Staff is excellent, helpful, kind. Restaurant is great! Had use of a ski locker as well. Full locker, not just a place to hang skus and poles. "

"The property is nice, the onsen is a terrific feature and the staff were excellent and helpful with our many questions for inbound/outbound travel. However, for upwards of $400 per night, the dining options were rather basic and, given the hotel's somewhat remote location, the sporadic shuttle schedule and drop-off locations made the ski resorts somewhat of a challenge to reach."
