"Was a beautiful stay! Couldn’t have been a more charming hotel. However, the photographs that advertise the hotel show women instead of focusing on the much more interesting history and adaptive reuse of an historic building once owned by an internationally recognized artist."

"If you're looking for a place to stay right after arriving in Salvador, this is a great place! I landed around 2:30am, and I was still able to check in. The room was small but clean. The air conditioning worked, and the place was quiet! However, the bathroom really could use a deep cleaning. The location to anything but the airport was a little rough. They did store my bag too, which was awesome! So, for my needs and purposes, it was great! But I wouldn't stay here for longer periods. "

"Great hotel and clean room with good amenities, exactly what we needed for an early flight as it’s a short drive and cheap uber to the airport - we left for the airport at 4am meaning we missed breakfast but they made us up sandwiches and yogurt so we didn’t miss out which was so lovely!!"

"Upon entering the bathroom I saw a small cockroach and another by the main door. There were also ants on the bathroom floor. I let staff know and they asked if I wanted to change rooms. I asked to first see the other room and saw another cockroach in that bathroom as well. There also seemed to be dead mosquitos on the bedroom floor in the main room. A lot of bugs here. What I did like was that it was a 15 minute drive to the airport. There is also a beach within about 2 minutes walking distance. I also appreciated the free breakfast. I also appreciated that I was able to check out 2 hours later, but they only charged me for 1 hour instead of 2. I gave it a 1 because I hate roaches, but I appreciated the other things I mentioned "

"Maravilhoso indico para qualquer um que venha especialmente de longe ou até mesmo de perto o ambiente limpo cheiroso a pessoa que me atendeu também A Mara é uma pessoa maravilhosa educadíssima ambiente bem familiar tranquilo dá para descansar pertinho da praia praia é uma delícia já tem um lugar certo de quando eu vir de São Paulo muito bom adorei ter ficado lá pena que foi muito rápido mas eu aconselho para quem busca um lugar tranquilo lá é o lugar ideal preço mais que justo que cabe no bolso de qualquer um Encantada"

"Staff was very attentive to when things close. Pay attention to closing times, and give the staff an hour prior if you want service. If the kitchen closes at 8pm, it means they go home at 8pm whether they clean uo or not. As a chef, I would be scared to see the kitchen in the morning"
