I would stay again for it’s cleanliness, attentive staff, and location. The hotel is pretty basic and not many amenities but perfect for a comfortable night’s sleep after sight seeing all day. I’m fairly sensitive to odors and sounds and the rooms smelled clean and not a lot of noise from outside or other rooms. Bathrooms are TINY but this is the norm for Istanbul.

My parents and I recently stayed here for two nights in Istanbul, Turkey, and we had a wonderful experience. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast, which offered a great start to each day. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the city, and the service was attentive and friendly. I recently stayed at My Dream Istanbul Hotel and had a good experience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the hotel's prime location. It's within walking distance of all the must-see attractions in Istanbul, including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The hotel itself was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location and wonderful Turkish hospitality! We stayed at My Dream with our family of 5. The hotel arranged our transportation pick-up and the concierge was amazingly helpful to navigate throughout the city. My family still raves about the breakfast! The rooms were clean and just what we needed.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Perfect location, in the heart of Sultanahmet, shops and restaurants all around, 2 minute walk to the tram, 10 minute walk to the Hagia Sofia! The breakfast had so much variety and changed slightly everyday and is on the top floor with a view of the Bosphorus and a bit of the Hagia Sofia. Front desk were great guys - super kind, willing to book restaurants and tours on our behalf, offering tea, and just being wonderful to chat with. I hope to return to Istanbul one day and I have no doubt that this is where I’m staying.

Ideally located boutique hotel with access by walk to major attractions of SultanAhmet district. Also located on the Tram (T1) route and less than minute walk to MarMary (the underground subway system of Istanbul) makes it ideal for the tourist. Hotel is clean and tidy. Major Pros: 1- Clean rooms/very peaceful atmosphere 2- very generous breakfast buffet 3- walkable 4- tons of options for traditional Turkish dinner locations around there 5- Very hospitable staff/Very accommodating 6- Daily room cleaning Cons: 1- rooms are tight for space 2- the electric outlets not compatible with US plugs; bell service does not provide adaptors. Please pack a couple. 3- Tram runs until midnight and again starts at 0600- so light sleepers may not be happy. 2-

Very happy overall with the property and especially the staff of the hotel. Mesut helped us organize our short trip o we could take the most advantage of the time we had. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: - Excellent location. Walkable to the main tourist attractions like the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Haga Sofia, Grand Baazar and Spice Market. - Tram transportation runs right outside the hotel. Short walk to the station. - Lots of dining options, currency exchanges around the area. - Lovely breakfast spread with a great view from the 7th floor. Cons: - The road outside the hotel is for Trams and cars cannot stop there. So the taxis will be in parallel streets. The hotel staff however will come and collect you and drop you and carry your luggage, so transportation is not an issue. Same with any tourist trips, They will come to the hotel. - No USB ports in the room. Those would be helpful. However you can buy the power plug adaptors from the shops in the street.

Main prob: 1. Noise. Hotel is adjacent to the tram line. The tram runs from early morning and is just outside window particularly if you are on a lower floor. All hotels in this area will have noise due to location the tram is additional noise that may wake you up early. 2. Air conditioning not effective. Takes too long to cool room overnight so very very warm at night. Recommend keeping a/c on entire time during the day - to prevent room from warming up. Either have to leave your key in the switch area to prevent from turning off when you leave room or ask front desk to keep a/c running all the time if they agree. 3. We booked 2 interconnecting rooms through expedia for 2 adults and 3 children - correct ages and number of people were given at time of booking., The interconnecting rooms could not accommodate 5 people - which we found out on check in at midnight. The only option we were given was 2 separate, not connected rooms, which is far from ideal when travelling with a family - meaning one adult in each room as not safe to leave children sleeping alone in room by themselves. When extra bed was placed in the orginal room given there was no room the was given the room is v small and no room to walk. The expedia search and booking should not have allowed 5 people booking for this hotel with interconnecting room. 4. Hot water ran out particularly in the morning Good things: 1. Very clean 2. Location 3. Polite staff Would not stay there again.
