The Mukarnas is a nice, comfortable and clean hotel in a great location in the heart of Istanbul’s European side. The breakfast is quite good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The main downside is the noise. There was loud music outside until around 3 a.m. every single night, and even though we were on a lower floor, it was difficult to sleep. Overall, a good hotel if location is your priority.

Wonderful hotel in a great location located right next to great restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood was safe, the staff friendly, and the room was great for a weekend stay. I would stay here again.

Everything was good, staff were amazingly helpful and polite, it was safe and clean. It is located in a great area for shopping and nightlife but a bit far from metro stations for elderly people’s needs who can’t walk a long distance‌ and since it was close to the busy area, it was loud at times during night. Other than that all good! Thank you

The hotel is located in a convenient location just a minute walk from Iatiklal Street, can get loud at night due to pub nearby but not always. The staff are helpful, breakfast is average but charging 5 euros for freshly squeezed orange juice is ridiculous. I'd happily pay around 109 lira for it if I had to. I'd be mindful if booking excursions, the driver's don't always drop you off outside the hotel and there are other issues. The transport will be a local mini van which will be overcrowded, you stop at tourist trap shops along the way and are often charged for drinks with meals which sells at over inflatee prices. Some of the restaurants they you have lunch at don't have ethe friendliest of staff.

Overall this is an average hotel. Certainly not 4 star level. The rooms were ok. The bedding was not the most comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good overall. The simit, croissants, and the poğaça were stale. The building is just an older one because of the location, which is probably what limits this hotel. The staff that work the buffet could certainly be more friendly.
