If your looking to stay at a cool place with your family, then this is the perfect accommodation for you. This is a 5 story house all to yourself in the hottest suburb in Istanbul right now Balat. This was the location they filmed the series CUKUR (The Pit) and has now become like downtown Paddington in Sydney.
Every morning when you wake up you only need to look at your balcony to see hundreds of tourists taking photos. All the houses are painted in bright colours and the place is buzzing with trendy little cafes and restaurants. Everything is at your doorstep. If you want to head into the Galata Bridge its only a short 220TL taxi ride away and they are bus stops and Taxis readily available about 100 meters away.
The place itself has two toilette's and two showers and they are spread over 4 levels so you need to walk up and down stairs but hey it keeps you fit. There is also a full kitchen with a functional fridge which keeps your drinks ice cold and a brand new washing machine and dryer,
The place is freshly renovated and has an inner city niche vibe going. The TV works which is hard to find in Turkey and does allow you to switch English speaking channels to English so your not reading subtitles when you watch movies.
The house could easily sleep 10 people, there were fold out beds we didn't need but if your a large group or just want your own space book this place. The owners were always contactable and helpful and communicate in English which helps. 10/10
