Excellent hotel - what can be expected for that price. Going out for a walk: not possible. Once you are at the hotel - you stay at the hotel. Need transport to go anywhere. Rooftop was nice and breakfast was extraordinary good.

The property is within 15 min from SAW Airport, Istanbul. I like how the hotel and the area around it is quiet, peaceful, and non-touristy. The staff are very friendly. The quality of the rooms and facilities is exactly what is expected from Marriott which is excellent.

Clean, smoke-free and comfortable

Staff were extremely accommodating. The hotel was immaculate, smoke free and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The spa was excellent! We had burgers at the rooftop restaurant and they were perfect. We wished we had planned a day just to relax at the hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was the cost of breakfast, so if you can choose the option of included breakfast- go for it. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean, excellent customer service

The customer service here is outstanding! Every member of the staff genuinely cared that we have a good experience. The first room we checked into had a slight cigarette smoke smell. When I told the staff they immediately upgraded us and reassured us that if we didn't like the second room that they could give us another one. But the second room was perfect. The room was very clean and was cleaned well everyday of our stay. The spa was fantastic as well. And the restaurant had delicious food. We actually spent 2 full afternoons and evenings at the hotel because it was so lovely.

The front desk staff were great and friendly. However the pool bar was unstaffed most of the time even after requests to be served there. Additionally, the restaurant and bar had slow and inattentive service. Water was not offered or provided once.

We only had two problems, everything else was great First, when we wanted to eat at your rooftop restaurant, we couldn't find anyone, then when we went down to the lobby, we couldn't get service because they were serving food to a large group of visitors. Second, we thought there was a coffee machine in our room, but there was only hot water. So we had to buy instant coffee from outside.

AC in my room wasn’t working and it was a corner suite with plenty of windows. I asked for it to be repaired and learned that the property had switched it off and they would not turn it on. Overall I spent very unpleasant and hot nights in my room with very poor sleep. The property looks like on its way down.

Business travel

Great stay, convenient and really a great hotel with all you will need. I only noticed one thing, breakfast buffet was not to the standard you would expect from hotel like this, and the service at the breakfast was to say the least terrible. Everyday I and my colleagues had to go find a servant to bring us coffee, or even pick it up ourself, which is not a problem had they they had a coffee machine, but here coffee has to be served - servants simply just don’t .. at least we did not experience that. And that a real shame for a hotel of this standard. Otherwise really great place!
