The hotel is nice, our king size bedroom was very spacious And Bathroom was large. The only problem was the breakfast in a different hotel. We had to walk to it on a steep hill. It was OK for some of us, but we had two seniors that was super hard on them and end up, not joining us for breakfast the whole trip. I do not recommend this place for people who cannot walk or seniors that need assistant.

beautifully located near to Galata tower and to Galata bridge, everything in walking distance. Grand Bazaar is also 20 minutes away to walk. Dining possibilities perfectly located. You can easily find something after 11pm if you are hungry and it is still safe to leave the hotel in that area. This was our second stay at Decamondo, definitely I would come back.

Amazing boutique hotel in the charming and endlessly explorable Galata neighborhood. Tons of shopping, antique stores, bookstores, bars, cafes, restaurants in every direction. Room was large and very clean and had everything you could want or need. The rooftop restaurant served a huge breakfast with a wide variety of options, and the view from up there was breathtaking. Couldn't have asked for a better spot.

The property has character and charm along with a roof terrace restaurant that looks out on the Bosphorus. However, it is split on two sites and access involves walking up quite steep steps or negotiating a steep slope. As long as you are reasonably fit, I woould recommend it for your stay in Istanbul.
