Charm Hotel is a wonderful family-run hotel in Istanbul, and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. What truly sets this place apart is the personal attention and genuine hospitality. On several nights we returned to the hotel quite late, and the owners were still awake to welcome us, make us tea, and sit with us to talk for hours. It never felt like staying in a hotel — it felt like staying with friends. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and sincere, and you can really feel the care they put into their guests. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like family rather than just another guest, I highly recommend Charm Hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

A perfect location in Sultanahmet to go to The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia within 3 mins. There are lots of restaurants but not a variety in food options. The train stop is within walking distance. The hotel is very convenient but basic. Not very clean and no cleaning service provided during our stay. There are no options to select breakfast except what's provided. The hotel staff kindly swaped some food items and were able to provide freshly pressed orange juice, which was very refreshing. However, without my knowledge this was added to an extortionate bill at the end of our stay. Although when booking the room it clearly indicates it is a buffet breakfast, the hotel manager outright refused to accept this and confirmed there is no buffet options since covid (2020) but had not updated on the booking system. The rooftop was closed for this time of the year but kindly the manager allowed to have a rooftop view of the sea and The Blue Mosque Due to being a busy area it can be noisy with transport and night music. Perfect location to stay, comfortable bed without further perks.

Convenient location, friendly staff, not so clean

The hotel is very centrally located, steps away from the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, and the rest of the Sultanahmet/Fatih area, which makes it convenient for walking around. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice! My real complaint was with the cleanliness of the room. When we arrived, our room was visibly dirty--the bathroom trash was full, there were hairs all over the floor, there was no soap, etc. I asked if they could at least take out the trash and the employee said something about the cleaning people only coming every five days or so?? Sure enough, our room was never visited by housekeeping for our entire three night/four day stay, which got a little gross. However, the bed was comfortable, despite the small size of the room. Overall, a decent choice for a budget stay in a convenient area.

Scam!!! Its the right word for this property. My mother who is 67 years old and I flew to Istanbul arriving at the hotel at approximately 3:00 AM after a long and tiring journey We were hoping for a smooth check-in and a comfortable stay but were met with a series of disappointing issues The first and most significant problem was the absence of an elevator in the hotel This was a critical detail for us as my mother has limited mobility Before our trip I specifically inquired about the availability of an elevator at the hotel Unfortunately the hotel staff did not respond to my inquiry which I have documented with a screenshot Upon arrival we were dismayed to find that the hotel indeed did not have an elevator This posed a significant challenge for my mother who struggles with stairs Given the situation I immediately requested a room on the first floor However the hotel staff informed me that the only available room on the first floor was a three-bedroom suite Despite the circumstances they refused to offer us this room even though it was their oversight that led to the situation Given the late hour and the fact that we had no other options I had no choice but to assist my mother up the stairs to our assigned room on the second floor This was a physically challenging task for her and added unnecessary stress to our stay .Room didnt match to photos provided and nor was breakfast

Dieses Hotel verdient nicht mal einen Stern. Es war sehr widerlich, die Zimmer waren voll mit Schimmel, die Decken und Kissen waren gelb, unhygienisch, die Lage war katastrophal, es war viel zu laut. Service war unfreundlich und und und. Wir sind zutiefst enttäuscht und schockiert. Die Bilder auf Expedia entsprechen nicht den Vorstellungen!

L'arnaque, la honte de l'hôtellerie mondiale. Vous avez dans cet hôtel la panoplie de tout ce qui est possible en terme de malhonnêteté. Nous avons réservé pour 4 nuits, 2 adultes 2 enfants, nous sommes accueilli par une femme désagréable d'entrée. Nous avons fait le règlement avant de voir la chambre, elle s'en est bien assuré d'encaisser avant. 504€ pour 4 nuits, il y avait des hôtels moins chère mais nous voullions payer la qualitée et avoir service de qualitée. Elle nous préviens que la tv est cassé par le précédent voyageur et qu'elle n'a rien pu faire. Je lui répond que ce nest pas nous qui pouvons faire quelques chose. On n'a pas mis les pieds que la tension est déjà monté. Ma femme lui demande un geste car 4 jours sans tv c'est compliqué avec les enfants le soir. Elle s'emporte et nous dis que si nous ne sommes pas content nous pouvons partir. Donc nous venons de Paris, nous avons réserver à l'avance pour être tranquille un hôtel qui coûte chère et elle nous dit qu'on peut partir. C'est purement du chantage, elle sait très bien que nous n'allons pas partir avec nos valises et nos enfants à la recherche d'un hôtel. J'ai du lui dire de sortir de la chambre pour qu'elle s'en aille. La chambre est annoncé 31m2, nous somme plus dans une chambre de 12 ou 13m2 que 31m2, les photos de l'annonce sont trompeuses La salle de bain est sale, le dessus du meuble na pas ete nettoyer depuis des années. Un rasoir usée.

Non potevamo trovare posto e persone migliori. Non abbiamo mai ricevuto un'accoglienza così calorosa e accogliente in nessuno dei nostri viaggi. Si sono preoccupati costantemente del nostro benessere e l'hotel ha un bel ristorantino e una bellissima terrazza. Oltretutto è pure situato in una zona ottima collegata dai mezzi per andare ovunque. Non ringraziaremo mai abbastanza il personale di questo hotel per il trattamento che ci hanno riservato. Consigliato assolutamente a chiunque voglia fare un viaggio a Istanbul.

Posizione eccezionale vicino a Ayasofia e Moschea Blu, personale accogliente e molto disponibile (sono riuscito a vedere la partita di calcio che mi interessava), camera non tanto grande ma letto molto comodo.
