"We make this trip every year, towing our 18’ boat, and purposely stay at this place for its amenities and location. This year we were able to keep our double length parking spot(s) reserved with cones that management allowed us to borrow. Very convenient location for boaters. The attached restaurant is also very good, but we wished they served a full breakfast instead of grab-n-go sandwiches. "

"The motel is a nice property, close walking distance to the main stretch of restaurants and shops of Bar Harbor. We walked everywhere during the trip! What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. Every single person from day and night shift was so kind and welcoming. Susie and Danette were phenomenal. They were quick to provide recommendations for all areas of Mount Dessert Island. My boyfriend and I got engaged on this trip, and I had a friend call the front desk without our knowledge. Danette personally helped my friend (over the phone) get a bottle of champagne to our room to celebrate. You truly don’t get this type of hospitality just anywhere, and it made our trip that much more special. We highly recommend this place and will be back!"

"Away from the madness of downtown Bar Harbor. The staff was friendly and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful as was the food at the Bistro cafe (note I am not a foodie tho). Quiet and great view "

"This is more like a motel that is clean, good condition and used mostly by tourists to Acadia. It has a nice small pool (area) which is nice to relax. They don’t have breakfast but offer morning drinks, cereals and muffins. It is a bit far from Bar Harbor with no transportation to town. (Bus to town would be nice since there is no free parking in Bar harbor. It is a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. "
