it is a room above a pub in a rural location
breakfast was well made. good porridge. scrambled eggs were made with cream and very tasty

"The ships cabin is a lovely place to stay for a couple. Everything you need, it’s clean, modern, and well located in Gatehouse. Parking off road just outside on the drive.
The WiFi works, the tv has loads of channels. Very comfortable would recommend. It’s is located centrally in Gatehouse, just a bit away from the Spa, park, Ship pub and a fab ice cream shop. Gatehouse is a lovely place. Very friendly residents. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
